RAYGLASS BOATS
Rayglass is one of New Zealand’s most iconic brands and a leading builder of GRP and RIB vessels. They wanted to craft a watertight website experience that matched the premium feel of their boats. With NZ Digital I rewrote the website copy and created a blog that brought the brand to life. Organic traffic increased by 30% and enquiries through the website were up by almost 70% after just three months. Well done us.
TOURISM NEW ZEALAND
Tourism NZ commissioned Storyation and myself to create content helping explorers discover the most unforgettable local experiences in the country. Think slurping oysters straight off the rocks in Northland, hiking around golden beaches in the Abel Tasman and sipping pinot noir lakeside in Central Otago. This was a particularly grueling assignment.
Concrete Playground is a digital city guide that helps Kiwis and Aussies find the best things happening around them. I worked with the Auckland publication reviewing restaurants and experiences, creating city guides and sponsored content for several clients including Microsoft and Tiger Beer. My ‘Auckland’s Best Burgers’ feature received close to to 5,000 shares on social media and caused me to gain 5 kgs while researching.
THE GROUNDS RESTAURANT
The Grounds is a casual family restaurant set on a large estate in the Waitakeres northwest of Auckland. The kitchen is run by celebrity chef Ben Bayly and Mike Shatura, whose elegant and locally sourced dishes recently won the Grounds recognition as one of Metro’s Top 50 Restaurants in Auckland. Working with their marketing manager and FWEB I crafted website copy that expressed their unique concept.

MONEY EMPIRE
Money Empire are a young, innovative financial advisory firm in Auckland. They wanted to engage customers and prospects by talking about mortgages, insurance and financial planning without putting them to sleep. More fun and approachable, less boring and confusing. I kept it simple, covering the financial stories of Money Empire customers and offering straight forward but clickable advice on mortgages, insurance and money.

Homes.com.au is a new property website aiming to take on the big players in the Australian market like Domain and realestate.com.au. Kinda like David and Goliath but with less leather. Working with Word Up Copy I created close to 100 informative and unique articles that drove traffic to the website and got the word out about the newest player in online real estate in Australia. Job done.

Christchurch’s biggest property developer Williams Corporation needed website copy with a tone of voice that matched their brand. Young. Innovative. Fast growing. High quality. Affordable. My website rewrite honed in on Williams Corp’s unique approach to property development, and showcased the strong personalities of its directors. Still waiting on a free house for my efforts.
